citroen c6

Citroen C6 is no ordinary car but it is an executive car which was first launched by Citroen in 2006 and its production was discontinued in 2012. This executive car is inspired by the C6 Linage prototype in the spring of 1999 but it is different in style from the concept car. The production of the Citroen C6 had to be started in 2001 but it was delayed 5 years because XM ceased production in June, 2000. The engine installed in the C6 is 3.0 L ES9 V6 producing 211 PS but in 2009, a 3.0 L V6 HDi diesel producing 240 PS was also introduced.

There are a lot of tech features in C6 such as head-up display, a lane departure warning system, xenon directional headlamps and it is called as “spaceship that rides on air”. It also holds a recognition that the former President of France  Jacques Chirac chose it as his official car.
