ducati 1199

All of us might have seen the Ducati 1199 because of the glamorous advertisements and no doubt why it was so popular because it was the most powerful production at that time. It had a twin-cylinder engine with maximum 195 horsepower that gave great speed on the tracks. It had a dry weight of 164 kg. Another recognition for which the Ducati 1199 is known is because it had the highest power-to-weight and torque-to-weight ratios among production motorcycles.

Another one of its recognitions is that it is the first bike to have electronically adjustable suspension at that time. It was widely used in the racing and was also featured in some movies earlier. A big change from the 1198 and 1098 is that the exhaust system of the bike was underneath the engine and not beneath the seat. It had a 6 speed transmission installed in it which gave great handling.
