John Deere is Launching Two New Tractor Models for India

The John Deere India Ltd., which is the functional subsidiary of the US tractor maker John Deere, has now introduced two of their new tractor models in the Indian market, the 35 HP 5036C as well as the 41 HP 5041C. While addressing the media last day in Bangalore, Mr. Ravi Menon, The Director of Sales and Marketing, John Deere India said "The introduction of two models marks the entry of John Deere into lower HP (horsepower) market segment too in Indian industry, which constitutes almost 40 percent of the total tractor market".

The 35 HP 5036C and 41 HP 5041C are featuring a more fuel-efficient and three-cylinder John Deere diesel engine, which is equipped with power steer, oil- immersed disc brakes, and side shift gears. There is also additional charging point and neutral start switch on drive gear, as well as other major user-friendly features too available on these models. "John Deere is fully committed to offer the most advanced technology to the farmers in India and would and would ultimately help them to become more cost-effective and productive” Ravi Menon said to the press.

John Deere has not got more than 19 regional offices as well as 380 official dealers. The company also got 200 high quality component manufactures and authorized suppliers.  They are also now exporting tractors from India to about 68 foreign countries. John Deere has already established and advanced technology and engineering division in Pune without 1,200 professionals involved in R&D and assist in the global product design and engineering with the help of information technology.

With the introduction of their previous heavy-duty models, John Deere had fully won the confidence and trust of Indian farmers as a powerful and functional farming machine. Now with the introduction of the low-HP models, John Deere has further made it more popular, now by catering to all sectors by meeting the customized needs of small farmers too with the most advanced technology.
