This is a world famous luxury 4 wheel drive which was first produced in 1970 by Land Rover. Range Rover is currently in its 4th generation and Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport are two of the most famous models. The class of the Range Rover is SUV and a hybrid version of Range Rover has also been launched. The first generation of Range Rover was really successful and was continued until 1996.
Surprisingly, unlike the other models by the competitors, Range Rover was pretty basic and had utilitarian interiors with vinyl seats and plastic dashboards that were designed to be washed down with a hose. There was a 3.5 L V8 134 hp Carburettor installed in the Rover and it could produce a horsepower of 135. The second generation of the Rover came with the V8 engines. The 4th and the current generation is a hybrid one and has a 8-Speed Automatic transmission.
