Toyota Aygo city car manufactured by Toyota of Japan and sold since 2005 in Europe. The Aygo cars are build in Czechoslovakia at the joint venture Toyota Citroen Auto Mobile Czech, Colin. The name Aygo is derived from” I go” depicting freedom and the car was unveiled at the Salon de l'Automobile de Genève in 2005. Presidents of PSA Peugeot Citroën and Toyota in2001 decided to build a car together and came into agreement to produce Aygo by sharing the development costs. The Citroën C1 and the Peugeot 107 are the rebadged models of the Aygo. The road price of the starting level Aygo is €8,500 and it hugely varies in the interior and exterior appearance from its siblings. The vehicle is available in body types of 3-door or 5-door hatchbacks and there are also two engine options offered in these models with a 1.0 L 3-cylinder giving out 68bhp and 1.4L HDi diesel with a power of 54hp.
