ducati 998

Ducati 998 is a successor of 996 and a new Testastretta engine was installed in the bike which had many similarities with the Desmoquattro. Two more models of the 998 were also released named as 998 R and 998 S and both of them had different kinds of crankcases and the 998 had that was similar to Desmoquattro. There was a 6 speed transmission installed in the bike.

A great thing about the Ducati 998 is that it was also featured in the Matric reloaded in 2003 in a dark green color. The production of the 998 was officially stopped with the release of Ducati 998 SE, special edition. The engine of the bike generated a horsepower of 123 hp (92 kW) @ 9,750 rpm. The special edition of the 998 was made available in a one or two seat model. The bike displayed a 999 cc which was quite close to that in the later model: 999 R.
