The most significant feature of Fiat 125 was that it was best suited for families hence known as a Large Family Car. It was first produced in 1967 and its production was stopped in 1972. Its engine was based on the one fitted in the Fiat 124 sports model. It also contained a Solex carburetor and an alternator was fitted in the car. So many developments were made to this model over the time and 125S with 100 bhp and a 5-speed gearbox which was very rare at that time. The most praised and useful feature of 125 was its handling and dynamics. The number of this model said to be manufactured is 603,877 before Fiat 132 replaced this model.
