Fiat Marea is a small family car which was launched in 1996 in different body styles such as 4-door saloon and 5-door estate. The production of Fiat Marea was ceased in 2002 when it was replaced with Fiat Stilo. It contained petrol and turbodiesel engines of 1.2 L, 1.4 L, and so on. The production of Marea continued in Brazil and Turkey for local markets due to high demand by the customers. However, the Brazilian version was facelifted into Lancia Lybra when it when it gained a redesigned rear end with taillights. At first, all engines for the Fiat Marea in Brazil were petrol-based, with no diesel variants. But he amazing feature in Fiat Marea was that driver could run it either on petrol or Compressed natural Gas (CNG).
