The Ford Scorpio is an official auto that was delivered by the Ford Motor Company from 1985 through to 1998. It was the substitution for the European Ford Granada line (albeit in the UK and Ireland the Scorpio was advertised under the Granada name until 1994). Like its ancestor, the Scorpio was focused at the official auto market. A variant known as the Merkur Scorpio was sold quickly on the North American business throughout the late-1980s.
The Scorpio was planned to keep up Ford's position in Europe as the essential option to a Mercedes or BMW for those looking to claim an official car.to this end Ford based on the officially broad detail accessible on the cordial Mkii Granada (which for the period, was extremely overall prepared, with peculiarities, for example, cowhide warmed electrically flexible seats, cooling, electric sunroof and trek workstation either standard or accessible as choices) by including some extra gimmicks surprising a mass-market auto.
