An All-New Vespa Sprint 2015 is here to give you Joy Ride
The Vespa Sprint, which is expected to go for sale around mid-June, is believed to bring back the glory and history associated with its original version of the sixties. With only four Sprints available in the United States, it is indeed an iconic brand for the Piaggio Group. This will become the first Sprint branded bike in the last 38 years. Priced at $5,099 it is slightly expensive than the versions which domineered the market in the 60s and 70s. Nonetheless, this new 2015 model is bound to make its riders happy as it turns out different than other Vespa versions. Sprint and Primavera models were unveiled by the Piaggio Corporation at a New York City event held in May.
Photo 1: VESPAThe 1965 model was a small bodied scooter, distinct and with the peppy sport tuned engine. The rectangular headlamp was among the many features setting it apart from other bikes of the time. The Primavera bikes shared with the Sprint small frame and both lacked wide rear bodies which were part of almost every scooter of the age. The 2015 model although will see foremost 12-inch tyres, the biggest wheels to be sported by any 150cc model. The thick rubber tyres make it more safe and manoeuvrable as compared to other bikes which sport 10 inchers. This is also one of the first Vespa model to be equipped with features including an ABS braking system. In addition to these are LED running lights, electronic fuel injection and a catalytic converter.
