BMW Facing Tough Times Marketing Its Electric Cars
Recently, the world has witnessed the marvelous Electric Vehicle has the Zero Emission Profile. It was showcased at the Motor Show. However, Developing the Model is one thing while its Marketing is another. The Global Automotive Market is pursuing a number of issues in the Marketing of the Electric Cars. The Emission Standard of the Europe is getting worse with time. There are a number of vehicles emitting harmful pollutants. Now, it is the target of the BMW to sell its outstanding Zero Emission Vehicles in the market. The company wants to achieve the target of selling 1, 00, 000 electric cars a year. This target has to be achieved by this decade, that is, by the year 2020.

The BMW has taken this step with target of marketing its Zero Emission vehicles in the US with an average putting it over 1 Gallon for 54.5 Miles. In the Europe, the goal of the company can be seen as the ambition as there are already diesel cars on the road as the better alternative to the current petrol cars and hybrid cars. However, the company still sees it more than just its ambition for marketing its Electric vehicle.
For this, the BMW Automotive Company has come up with the decision to increase the production of its two major electric car models, that is, i3 and i8. The company has given special emphasis on the i3 car model which is the major electric model with versatile form factor and overall profile. The company wants to slow down the emission of the Carbon-Dioxide to about 105 Grams per Years in the Europe till 202. Currently, it is 133 Grams a Year in the Europe.
