BMW X4 Revealed Its Details Ahead Of Its Showcase Next Month

First revealed in the April 2013 as the concept model, the details of the production units of BMW X4 have been recently released. However, it is a month before its launch in the New York Motor Show which is to be held the next month. The BMW X4 is the lower cost option for the BMW X6 model, thus, expected to make the grand debut in the showcase. The new coupe bridges the gap between the coupe and the SUV roadsters. The design is based upon the same platform as that in the case of the X3. However, there are many alterations like the aggressive look of its bumper, the highly dashing headlight and the front air grille.

The new BMW X4 is under the production line. The details describe the model with the new curvier line, firm roof design and minute details resembling the stylish DNA with Grand Coupe, mainly focusing the taillight. The model will go on the sale in the UK next year. The official sources confirmed that the model will be available in the Diesel Engine option along with that in the multiple Variants. The primary integration of the Engine shows up the 2.0L Diesel Engine with 308bhp. However the other options include 3.0L Straight-Six Engine. The enormous power of the model will allow it to accelerate at 62mph in just a matter of 5.2 seconds. The top speed of the model is estimated to be 145 mph.

Officially, the model will be available with the xDrive Four Wheel Drive option, offering the 6 Speed Manual Gearbox. However, the 8 Speed Automatic Gear Box will be in option for the UK residents. As per the official sources, the model will be priced £36,590 for BMW X4 20d variant, while it is £48,490 for 35d variants on the UK.
