British Model Customs Slammer Seat for Triumph Modern Classics

The British Customs is now offering their Slammer Seat for the Triumph Modern Classics, which includes the Bonneville, Scrambler, and Thruxton. British Customs had made these to the newest addition to their custom line of seats for the Triumph models. The new model slammer seats in turn also join the line of other customized products of British Customs that offer a high degree of aesthetic as well as a more functional upgrade for the most modern models of Triumph Classics.

It is a well known fact that the creations of British Customs are the right essence of real form and function. Each of their products are very carefully planned to design with an objective of completing rightly to enhance the natural looks of the bike along with offering improved functionality. Now the new Slammer seat is no exception to this and in fact more charming than their previous products.

First to notice is the form and at the first point itself, you can see that the British custom design team had done a fairly good effort by going too many steps ahead and cut away any unnecessary bulk from the factor fitted seat. The Slammer seat is made by removing about half inch to almost ¾” around the edges and had made the sub-frame rails more exposed. The new Slammer Seat also made ½” shorter to offer a bit more exposure to the rear fender fitted by the factor, which will offer the bike a more shorter appearance altogether in combination with the BC Fender Elimination Kit.

Considering the function, the BC design team seems not to have a mind every to compromise on this aspect for style. In order to achieve the most wanted right-profile look, they have removed the extra padding here and there, and instead made up for it with a more comfortable gel insert. This medical-grade gel in turn helps to support the rider’s weight rightly, and can effectively absorb shock and offer optimum comfort both on and off the road for long.
