First Range Rover Evoque with Autobiography Dynamic debuting in Geneva
The first in the history of Land Rover it is introducing the autobiography title to the Range Rover Evoque and it has a more agile, highly powerful autobiography dynamic comprising of a turbocharged 285PS engine and chassis that is optimized for sharper handling and enhanced performance.
Photo 1: ROVERThe Evoque based on the Autobiography Dynamic sports a 2.0 liter petrol turbo engine which is upgraded to 285PS and 400NM. This means a considerable 45PS and 60NM enhancement in power which would make the 9-speed ZF transmission respond to sportier input by the driver quickly and efficiently, especially when it is on Drive.
Active driveline is standard in all the autobiography dynamic models where as it is optional in the Range Rover Evoque models. This is a world’s first technology for 4-wheel drive system and it greatly improves traction, agility and fuel efficiency and engages the 4-wheel drive automatically as and when it is required and seamlessly executes it.

The upgraded chassis supports an improved suspension system comprising of stronger spring rates and returned adaptive dampers enhancing the turn-in response and agility. These improvements have been achieved with the Range Rover Evoque without chancing on its compliant quality during the ride.
Upgraded 350mm brake discs have been fitted at the front the Autobiography Dynamic to ensure optimized performance for the driver and the TVB (Torque Vectoring by Braking) has been made standard tool for the Evoque. This system helps in providing better handling characteristics by reducing under-steer on surfaces that are low or high-grip.
Improving on the already existing connected technologies of Land Rover, InControlTM Apps has been introduced across the range. In a first if its kind the Apps capacitates Smartphone apps to be beamed on the car’s touchscreen and controlled, retaining their originality and feel of the apps at the same time.
