Fisker’s fortunes about to change
Fisker has a plan in place in place for strengthening its automotive business by better management of its financials and rollout plans. As pointed out by its newly appointed president, they plan on solidifying their assets in order to put its famous gas cum electric hybrid back on the road by the first quarter of the year 2015. The expectation is that the freshly launched car, sponsored by the unfathomable investment capability of Wanxiang, the Chinese company, will be devoid of the faults that had driven the company into bankruptcy the previous year.
Photo 1: FISKERThe company has plans to reconstruct its business by providing launches in the near future. It could include a smaller version of the Karma, called innovatively the Surf. Plans are also in the pipeline for a variant that will go easier on the pockets, tentatively named the Atlantic. It is highly unsure if the company could retain its original name but the management has shown faith in the cars terming them as “rock stars”. The balls have been set rolling as the company moves ahead to set up a new headquarters. The production capability of the firm is restricted to Delaware but plans are on to shift it and there is also the matter of hiring the workers they will need to restart production.
The company’s fortunes are about to change and it is being hoped that they start afresh with renewed vigor to make quality cars again and provide competition of the topmost level, again.
