Iveco Automotive Launches Smartphone For Easy Navigation On The Move

The world famous car brand, Iveco Automotive, has launched the application that corresponds with International Truck of the Year-winning Stralis Hi-Way launch in UK. The invention of iOS devices have now used by the Iveco Automotive to the advantage of truck drivers across the country and the new app released free for Android and iPhone can help them locate the nearest station with their finger tips.

Director of Press & PR of Iveco Nigel Emms said that the company is happy to launch an app useful for truck drivers on the occasion of the new Stralis range debut. He further hoped that more drivers would be able to take advantage of this new development and its benefits. The new Stralis Hi-Way is the replacement for the earlier Stralis Active Space and Super3 models and the design is to be competitive for long-haul UK as well as international haulage. These are the latest premium model cab sold in the market today.

The launch is joined by Strais Hi-Road, which replaces the Active Time model and Stralis Hi-Street, a day cab meant for short haul. The last one replaces the Active Day Model has seen in the market previously. Iveco’s Hi-Stop app for Smartphone is one smart application to match and easy to use. It is equipped with a map that shows the driver where to find a service station for trucks within an area of 50 miles from the user’s location.

This smart app also chronicles the list and type of amenities and services available with a particular truck-stop service. The online directory integrated in the app allows the drivers to sort truck-stops by road, region or alphabetically. The quick links planted in the app also allow users to access Iveco’s websites and Twitter feed so that they get the latest information about the company and its products just by a few taps on their mobile phones.
