KEEWAY 600cc naked bike ready for 2014 release

Developing of a 600cc naked bike has been announced by Keeway to be released later in this year. A single picture has been published of the RK6 but Keeway said that the new bike will be modeled on the style line of RKV125 which incidentally on sale in the UK at the current price of £1,899. With the extra boost @600cc, RK6 has been substantially sharpened to reflect it.

The engine size of RK6 will be 599cc 4-cylinder and liquid cooled DOHC generating an 88bhp which would put the bike in the club of Kawasaki ER-6 and Yamaha XJ6. According to Keeway this bike will be cheaper when compared with these other bikes and its probable price tag will be £4,000.  The idea behind this change is to lure owners of training schools to replace the RK6 with other pricey bikes in the 600cc. While it saves the money it also attracts newcomers with its stylish new looks. The bike is a good option for people who want to have a punchy bike with good looks and style for commuting and at the same time keep the bike’s outlay at a lower level.

The Keeway Benelli 600cc is another bike that has combined power and the good looks. The BN600 is essentially slender, energetic and extremely aggressive in features and its strong feature is the comfortable seating for the driver. The comfortable seat makes bike handling extremely easy when the rider enjoys the ride with complete focus. It has a four cylinder 4-stroke liquid cooled engine with a rated output of 60kW at 11500rpm max and 52Nm torque at 10500rpm.

The Keeway BN 600 is offered in color choices such as black, white, grey and orange and will be available to the Thai market starting from middle 2013. The bike is priced competitively to take on bigger brands.
