General Motors Co. is slated to do away with the formerly well established Daewoo car brand stationed in the South Korean car market. The General Motors car company commences the sale of vehicles country wide using the ‘Chevrolet nameplate’ in an effort to multiply local sales.

That GM would be introducing eight branded new or fresh Chevrolet-brand vehicles in South Korea, with the launch of its domestic operational framework in the form of GM Korea Co., as was reported by Michael Arcamone, the CEO of the car manufacturing unit. He said that they want to make their mark by making provisions for every car user in Korea that has a plethora of more car selections to make from, they would make the decisive verdict to provide the customer stationed in Korea with similar car choices throughout the world that it would be providing under the Chevrolet namesake.

Another statement obtained was that the General Motors were expecting to accomplish a double-digit share in the market share in South Korea. The growth rate for both the domestic sales as well as the sales through exports would be similar as compared to the past year’s percentage.
