Piaggio Launching the new Vespa S in India
Vespa S, the featured scooter from Piaggio is launching in India. This 125 cc machine is loaded with all advanced features like disc brakes, single piece monocoque steel chassis, tubeless tires, and the new Vespa is made available in four distinct colors too. Piaggio is boasting of a track record of selling more than 70,000 Vespa scooters till date, which is a reassuring figure in this sector while considering the domestic market.
Photo 1: VESPAThis Italian two-wheeler brand has rolled out this third premium segment scooter under the Vespa brand at an ex-showroom price of Rs 76,495/-. The company, which is present in the domestic market is a wholly owned subsidiary of Piaggio Vehicles, and the first launch of Vespa model was in 2012.
As per the official Spokesperson of Piaggio brand about the launch of Vespa is that “Vespa 946 scooter will be priced at a range of about Rs 8-9 lakhs, and it is focused at the collectors and the high-profile customers who are passionate about such offerings. The model is a culmination of top-end design and style. The machine is handcrafted by incorporating the latest technology. We are planning to introduce this scooter as a completely built unit in just the next 2-3 months”

Piaggio had sold more than 70,000 Vespa scooters since its inception into this sector in the domestic market, and hold a fair market share when compared to its immediate competitors. The design of the Vespa is so classic, which had been an instant hit in the Indian market, which had been welcomed by the new generation customers in India. The classic Vespa scooters have been already there in demand in the 1980’s and 90s when it was the peak time of the scooter market in India.
