The Giant of the Automaker World, FORD to launch Fiesta this year 2014

A company by Henry Ford, dating as back as 1903, FORD has a travelled a long distance in these 110 years. An American multinational vehicle manufacturer Ford provides services worldwide, its headquarters set in Michigan, Detroit. It has expanded its base into manufacturing with luxury vehicles, commercial vehicles and automotive part. Its services include vehicle servicing and leasing as well as automotive finance. Lincoln brand is the name under which it sells its luxury cars while commercial vehicles under the Ford name. It is also the owner of Brazilian SUV manufacturer, Troller and FPV- a performance car manufacturer. Having seen the transition to Public, The Ford family although still owns 40% of rights through special class B shares which give them privileged voting.

Ford Fiesta had its most recent showcasing at the Indian Auto Expo of 2014 and its launch can be expected to happen mid 2014. Although no official date for its launch has yet been declared by the automakers, and Fiesta can be found mentioned in the upcoming vehicles section, with all relevant details of prominent features and technical aspects.

One of the most outstanding changes visible in the refurbished Fiesta is a new grille, which seems to have inspiration in Eco Sport’s grille. A revised set of fog lamps and tail lamps with different positioning, bumper and bonnet can also be seen happening in the revised edition. A steering wheel with innovative designing from the previous model can be seen as a highlight in the interior. Also part of the feature will be dashboards and seats completely revamped.

A no change policy is seen when it comes to what is located under the hood. It will have the same 1.5 litre engine in both petrol and diesel variants. Although launch of a new colour (copper pulse) can be expected to be part of the redesigning campaign along with push button start, rain sensing wipers and airbags for driver and the passenger.
