The New 2015 Jeep Renegade Offering Loads of Security and Safety Features

The all-new Jeep Renegade, which got unveiled recently, is offering many advanced features for safety.  Security and safety were given prime importance during the development of Renegade, which will be hitting on roads by the year 2015.  As per the Jeep engineers, there are about 70 full-fledged and highly sophisticated safety features being integrated with the model. There are both active as well as passive features ensuring safety; and the top ones are like the monitoring of blind-spot, cross patch detected on the rear, standard backup part view camera featuring dynamic grid lines, and ESC (electronic stability control) with roll mitigation.

There is also forward collision warning, which can deploy the brakes to give alerts to the driver about the risk of impact as well as to assist with driver response. There are also seven air bags which come standard, which include the side pelvic-thorax bags as well as seat-mounted bags. There are also full-length side airbags too.

Renegade also features an emergency services button to dial 911 assistance, which is a mirror mounted, also to get roadside assistance and to get Uconnect Customer Care for emergencies related to non collision (which is made available some selected regions). The active turn signals will flash automatically for three times when the stalk is depressed for about one second, which will automatically indicate a lane change. There is also a traction control system which is the active part of the anti locking brake system (ABS). This will keep the driving wheel steady from spinning during the time of acceleration of at a stop.

There is an auto-dimming mirror on the rear which will automatically reduce the glare from any bright light coming from outside and will allow the driver to get a more clear view of the road and surroundings. The automatic defogger will enable the temperature control system to measure the humidity inside the cabin and will enable a fog-free windshield without the need for driver intervention.
