The new Lancia Ypsilon to appear at the Geneva Motor Show

The Lancia will be shown off as the Lancia Ypsilon at the Geneva Motor Show and what you will see is a Chrysler rebadged stylishly structured city car for sure. Ypsilon has been in production since 1996 in Italy and it is 300mm longer than its base model Fiat 500 and it will come with four engine options, 1.2 L 69bhp petrol, an 85bhp TwinAir, 1.2 L duel fuel petrol/LPG model similar to Punto Evo and a 1.3 L diesel.

For the Lancia Ypsilon the interior is offered with three trim levels namely Platinum, Gold and Silver and the first option gives matt and glossy finishes with matt leather and contrasting materials. The car model will be a unique choice because of its customization options and they are staggering, in fact 600. As per Lancia these customization options allow you to modify 3 trim levels, 17 body colors, 6 upholstery choices and 3 types of alloy wheels. If you wish to go for more, then Lineaccessori Lancia gives you more with extra kits like tinted headlamps, satnav and side skirts. Though the official world has not come forward about the price tag a customer shall be expected to pay upwards of £10, 000.

In the meanwhile it has been announced a price of €22,950 for the 2014 Lancia Delta, which will be available for customers from next month. Photos of the 5-door hatchback has been released by the Italian automaker and while making the announcement.

Facelift has been offered to the 2014 model at a minor level ad it is added with side skirts of body color to rear and front bumpers, glossy new black trim for central console, twin chrome vent pipes, inserts of matte black for instrument panel and steering. The base model, Delta Iron will have fabric seats, air conditioning, CD/MP3 player where is the Delta Silver will be featuring leather-wrap around the steering wheel.
