To the Excitement of Jawa Freaks - Jawa 350 is Still Available

Believe or not, the renowned Czech motorbike manufacturer Jawa is still active in the business, and is also offering a true retro two-wheeler technology for the riders. It is the same, we are talking about the same old Jawa 350, which was the heart-throbber of an age, is available still staying as close to the old-school machinery.

The new Jawa 350 is made available at three trim levels as Classic, Sport and Limited Edition Military versions. It is true that there are many old-model Jawa 350 still on the roads and also fly high in the refurbished two-wheeler market. However, the new Jawa 350 offers a lot more technical perfection too by fully doing justice to the old mind-boggling design.

As per the Jawa engineers, all the models have got powered with an old, but enhanced model, 2-stroke 345cc, 23 HP @ 5250 rpm engine with parallel twin-producing 32 Nm; just under under 24 ft-lbs and 4,750 rpm. The classic version comes as the least changed version from the old school. The Jawa enthusiasts surely appreciate the old-model oval tank with rubber side panels and the chrome accents running over it. The fork gaiters and the accents also kept the same as the bike had 20 years ago.

The other two modes are also powered by the same engine combined with a 4-speed gearbox. The new-age technology of electric start is there, however with kick backup too. However, in the new version advanced models, the tanks and the side panels are reworked a bit. Just as in the case of the classic version, the brake rotor had got upgraded in the other two too to one that is drilled 265 mm.

The top version Limited Edition is colored military green with knobbies and the Sport edition got some frontal fairing offering better protection and a higher-geared transmission. The accessory racks and side cases when fitted on can make it a perfect touring machine.
