Photo 1: VOLKSWAGENFor readers who are not aware, the Polo model is the sub-golf offering of VW and has been well acclaimed as an efficient compact car by the European auto market, which is largely owed to its handsome appearance and unbeatable efficiency. The most economical of the Polos would be the BlueMotion, which is available as a diesel model. The 73hp BlueMotion TDI with 76-US-mpg will still be sold to the customers with a gas version joining it shortly. The Polo TSI BlueMotion with 55hp and a 3-cylinder turbo engine should produce a combined rating of the over 57mpg US. These ratings are converted, of course from the European cycle.
The other one the Polo BlueGT is expected to give an exciting rate of fuel economy. It has been endowed with a 1.4-Liter engine booted to 147hp and equipped with an active cylinder control. However, there is no authentic report on its fuel efficiency is available, but one can fairly hope the car to be economical and fun to the consumer.
