Nissan Skyline is a compact model, executive and sports line of cars manufactured by Prince Motor Company from 1955 and later by Nissan Motors after the 1966 merge. The Nissan Prince Ship dealt with the Nissan Skyline and Nissan Gloria, the bigger sibling in Japan dealerships. The designs of the skyline line of cars were offered by Schinichiro Sakurai from its introduction till he died in 2011. The body style of the skyline included coupe, sedan, convertible, crossover, plus station wagon and pick up delivery van. The round brakes and the tail lights were identified commonly in the later models. Most of the models from the skyline lineup are offered with rear-wheel-drive and only after the eighth generation of cars had the four-wheel-drive. The skyline was very famous and was featured in magazines, video games and movies and the US started importing the cars as the Infiniti G. The 11th generation of skylines was a turning point in its history because it shed some of the old features such as replacing the straight-6 with V6.
