The distinctive model designed with the rear engine, independent rear suspension and swing axle evolution and released into the market is the Porsche 911. This model has undergone continuous upgrades to support the various needs people have for racing, rallying and other interesting automotive competitions. While the air cooled engines were used in the models of generation spreading in between 1963 to 1998 the new water cooled variants are provided in the market from 1998 to the present. Even in this water cooling engines, one has to struggle to pick the best model from the numerous variants available in the market.
The “all wheel drive” mechanism is implemented in few of the turbo engine variants along with the other popular club racing oriented GT3 and the forced induction centric turbo and GT2 models. The use of the four wheel drive and the twin turbo has made few variants quite popular through their appearance in the magazines as the best cars.
