It is presented for sale in 4 door saloon at the moment and it has a 1.5 L I4 dCi installed in it. There are 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions installed in them. It is also known as Renault Samsun S3 and it went for sale in November 2009.

There is a 2.0-liter 180 hp (134 kW) named Renault TCe 180 associated with a 6-Speed Manual Gearbox. The car exhibits great style and amazing performance on road supported by reliability. It underwent its first facelift in 2012 when it came back with Xenon headlights and other minor changes. Mégane II saloon is the predecessor of Renault Fluence.
