Triumph Tiger Explorer was announced by Triumph Motorcycles of Britain in 2011 and it was a dual-sport bike that was revealed to the world at the EICMA show. The motorcycle is currently available in two models the Tiger Explorer and the Tiger Explorer XC and the specifications of both bikes are identical only the XC is engineered to off-road riding adaptability. Both the Tigers are offered with 1,215cc straight 3-c and 6-speed gear transmission. According to Triumph the engine produces a 101kW power and 121Nm torque. The bikes are supplied with cruise control, traction control and switchable ABS as standard features. There are dual brakes with 305mm discs and 4-piston Nissin calipers in the front and single 282mm disc and two piston calipers for the rear. The bikes use 110/80R19 front tires and 150/70R17 rear tires. The tank holds an amount of 5.3 US gallon gas and oil capacity is 4 Litre.
