volkswagen new beetle
Volkswagen New Beetle introduced in 1997 by Volkswagen is a compact car. The car took most of its design of the exterior from the original Beetle. Engine for the New Beetle is located in the front and the luggage space has been designated to the back, which is contrary to the arrangement with the original model. For the New Beetle special editions such as Malibu Barbie New Beetle have been released. The current body as announced by Volkswagen would stop for the model from 2011 and in place would be a new model for the New Beetle. In 1995 Volkswagen displayed Concept One at the Tokyo Motor Show with lots of restyling. It was accepted widely forcing the company to look for a production model. The New Beetle was launched in 1997 which was modeled on PQ34 platform of Golf IV. New Beetle has several similarities such separate wings, sloping headlamps, vestigial running board and rounded roofline.
