Volvo C30 was produced by Volvo Cars from 2006 to 2013 and it was first introduced in Europe. C30 had a range of engine choices which included 1.6L inline-4 petrol or diesel engine and to 2.5L inline 5-turbo Diesel engine. In the year 2009 options of 2.0L Petrol or Diesel with 6-speed auto transmission became available. It is sold as a premium sports coupe and hatchback and it is based on the C1 platform of Ford. The Volvo model is mainly aimed at the younger buyers and 65,000 units are the expected production per year and out of this 75% is sold in the European Market. The trim lines for the C30 include Kinetic, Summum and Momentum in Europe and SE and SE Lux for the UK. By opting for the R-design package a buyer can add several exterior and interior accessories including R-design insignia on the steering, aluminum inlays on dashboard, rear spoiler, body kits and floor and seat mats.
