Yamaha Jog was a scooter produced by Yamaha for the younger and older age groups since the early eighties. Jog was discontinued from production in 2001 citing profit issues. Jog underwent three phases of production. The first and original Jog CE50 had a top speed of sixty one kilometer per hour and displacement of 49 cc. The upgrade Jog CG50 was released in 1988. Much of the specifications stayed the same. The only major upgrades were the increase in top speed, which rose to a minute 64 kmph and the improved range of colors in which it was made available. The third, last and longest running model was the Jog CY50 model, which was a completely restyled version of the previous version, was released in 1991. CY50 had more fiber than any previous version and looked more compact. The color combination and variety was highly increased and the top speed was raised to about seventy kilometers per hour.
